Re: Notts Co- Rochdale ( FOR THE TITLE!!! )
Spotlight on Notts v Rochdale
Team news: Notts County are boosted by having a fully-fit squad for the title showdown against Rochdale.
They are likely to be unchanged for the third game in a row.
Graeme Lee and Mike Edwards will be partnered together in the heart of the defence, with captain John Thompson on the right and Stephen Hunt on the left.
Kasper Schmeichel will start in goal as the Magpies aim to equal an 87-year-old club record of 23 clean-sheets.
Their 30-goal leading scorer Lee Hughes is expected to be joined in attack by Delroy Facey.
Line-up: Schmeichel, Thompson, Lee, Edwards, Hunt, Westcarr, Ravenhill, Bishop, Davies, Hughes, Facey, Hoult, Clapham, Jackson, Hamshaw, Hawley, Akinbiyi, Fairclough, Canham, Pilkington.
Line-up: Fielding, Wiseman, Stanton, McArdle, Dawson, T Kennedy, Jones, Taylor, J Kennedy, Thompson, O'Grady, Dagnall, Higginbotham, Toner, Arthur, Holness, Obadeyi, Haworth.
DANGER MAN
Chris O'Grady: Rochdale boast one of the most potent strike-forces in League Two, with Chris Dagnall and Chris O'Grady.
The pair both scored to inflict a 2-1 defeat on the Magpies at Spotland in November, after Ben Davies fired Notts ahead.
Nottingham-born O'Grady, who was on loan at Notts earlier in his career, has scored 21 goals this season – one more goal than Dagnall.
The Magpies' defence will have to be at their best to stop them scoring at Meadow Lane.
KEY CLASH
Lee Hughes v Craig Dawson: The Magpies' leading scorer Lee Hughes has scored eight goals in his last ten games to reach 30 for the season.
With the service from Ben Davies and Craig Westcarr, he will get chances to add to his impressive tally against Rochdale – and if he takes them like he has all season he could fire Notts to a big win.
Rochdale's young centre-back Craig Dawson, who is playing his first full season for the club, will be given the unenviable task of trying to stop Hughes.
